Rookery Hall Angela and Keiths wedding

Angela’s story
After a few months I was sure the day would never arrive and had all but given up on my white wedding. At the end of the year we went for an overnight stay at a lovely little country hotel courtesy of Barclays for my 10 year service gift. It was here that Keith finally popped the question, all day he walked around Botany Bay and the hotel grounds with my ring in his pocket waiting for the right moment to propose. After a lovely 3 course meal we went back to our room, I was in the process of removing my makeup when Keith bought up the subject of getting engaged. By this time I had given up on the whole marriage thing and told him to give it a rest, when I turned to continue with my moaning he had the most beautiful ring in his hand waiting for my answer…… This of cause was a yes.We planned our wedding over the next 2 years without any disagreements or Bridzilla appearances, and I could not have wished for a better wedding day, the only issue I have is that it all passed so quickly.

We chose Rookery hall to hold our full wedding day and this started for me and my Bridal party the day before where we spent the day relaxing in the spa. We chose to get ready in the bridal suite while Keith and our boys spent the morning getting ready at home. The whole experience has been one of the best in my life but most importantly I got to marry my best friend, father of my children and the man I love with all my heart.
